Former world heavyweight title challenger Carlos Takam grinded out a close hard fought decision over the very game Jerry Forrest this past Thursday in "The Bubble" at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. Takam, who is generally an inside volume punching fighter, decided to take a more methodical approach and box Forrest from the outside. After getting off to a very good start Takam faded a bit down the stretch while Forrest staged a late rally to close the gap. In the end the rally from Forrest just wasn’t enough and Takam held on to win a unanimous decision. Eric and Beeb recap this fight as well as the rest of the past week's boxing action.
