In a highly entertaining bout IBF Welterweight Champion Errol Spence squared off against WBC Welterweight Champion Shawn Porter. Spence went in to to the fight as the huge favorite but Porter did not fight anything like the eight to one underdog the odds makers had it. Porter gave Spence more trouble than most expected with his movement and he was able to land punches from awkward angles but Spence closed the show strong and scored a knockdown in the eleventh round that seemingly sealed the deal for him. Eric and Beeb recap this fight as well as the rest of the past week's boxing action.

In what appeared to be a super middleweight crossroads fight Alfredo Angulo surprised Peter Quillin last night by outworking him and landing the much cleaner blows of the two men. Angulo scored the upset split decision victory with two judges scoring it 97-93 and 96-94 for him while the other judge had it 96-94 for Quillin. Eric and Beeb recap this fight as well as preview the big welterweight unification showdown between Errol Spence and Shawn Porter coming up this Saturday

Tyson Fury did what most people expected he would do against his overmatched opponent Otto Walin but maybe not how most expected he would do it. Walin showed a bit more grit and wherewithal than was anticipated. Although Walin had a few moments they seemed to be too far and few between and Fury was able to out work and out box his game opponent. But, Fury did not go unscathed in this matchup as he suffered two big gashes over his right eye that were caused by the laces of Walin’s left glove scraping up against his eyelid and an accidental head butt causing the second cut. Although Fury admitted after the fight that the cuts affected his vision they were still not enough to stop him from doing what he came to do and was expected to do and that was dominate the huge underdog Walin. Eric and Beeb recap this fight as well as the rest of the past week's boxing action.

The newly crowned heavyweight champion Ruiz is looking to prove that his historical, monumental victory was no fluke. The two men kicked off the press tour for this mega event this past week and Eric and Beeb will chime in with their thoughts and recap the three press conferences that took place and analyze both fighters’ mindset going into the rematch.

WBO and WBA Lightweight Champion Vasyl Lomachenko added the WBC lightweight title to his collection last night as he systematically outpointed the very game contender Luke Campbell. Campbell didn't make thing easy for Lomanchenko early on but the Ukrainian showed why is arguably the best pound for pound fighter in the sport by making the necessary adjustments and pulling away in the second half of the fight. Campbell put up a valiant effort and survived an eleventh round knockdown but just didn't have enough to stop the highly skilled Lomanchenko from doing what he wanted.
